From 1991 to 1993, while studying, I worked for an engineering office in Milan:
1991-1992: developed a data acquisition system and a production monitoring system for MASCIONI S.p.a. in Cuvio (Varese), a large factory producing printed textiles (UNIX / C).
1992-1993: developed a data acquisition system (R.O.N. Rete Ondametrica Italiana) for the Italian Ministry of the Environment. This system allows the aquisition of data from a system of buoys installed over the seas surrounding the Italian peninsula for the measurement of the direction and intensity of winds and waves. These data are used for compilation of nautical reports (UNIX / C).
In 1994 I did an alternative to military service in the Italian army.
In the same year I developed a software application in Visual Basic and Visual C++ on Microsoft Windows operating system for the management of travel agencies (customer relations, accounting, stock accounting, issue and printing of air, railway and sea tickets, hotel vouchers, etc.).
From 1994 to June 2004 I worked in Salvagnini Italia S.p.a., an engineering industry, where I acquired a considerable experience working in Unix operating system under X-Windows, Motif on Alpha DIGITAL workstations. In this period I developed client-server applications based on communication protocols defined with SDL and software libraries for communication beetwen applications through sockets, for the visualization of images, for the management of multi-thread applications, for the storage of data on data-base accesible with SQL language, etc. From 1997 Salvagnini Italia S.p.A. decided to port all software applications on Windows NT platform so I acquired a good experience in design and developing C++/ MFC applications, mutithreading applications, client/server applications, COM components (ATL) and common software libraries (DLLs). In the last four years I managed a team of four people and I was the reference in my company for the design and the development of new software applications on Windows NT and Windows 2000. In the last period I also developed some WEB/WAP applications using IIS and ASP pages.
From june 2004 to may 2007 I was employed at Gamma, a company based in Vicenza, that engineers and produces automatic video rental systems. In Gamma I was the responsible of the development of software applications for the management of video rental machines.
At the moment I'm employed at ProValue, a company based in Padova, been born at the beginnings of 2004 on initiative of a group of professionals of the IT banking with detached specialization and experience in the Credits and Loans area. In ProValue I cover the analyst role.
I'm a dynamic and friendly person who likes working in a team; I think I am flexible and open minded with a marked inclination for problem solving. Moreover I'm interested in the acquisition of a new knowledge through the developement of strongly innovative projects.
I also love travelling and getting in touch with peoples and cultures all over the world.
